Shipping Policy

DFI Beds offer a ground floor delivery only but are drivers are happy to help if there is someone available. Due to COVID19 regulations we only have one man per delivery van and delivery is to front door only. Our drivers will have gloves and masks as we need to keep them and you safe. 


Our customers will receive a text message the day prior to delivery and our driver will always call 1 hour before arriving to your home. We have one of the most comprehensive vehicle tracking systems in the industry all are fitted with real time GPS technology and with camera systems to ensure our central office remains updated to the whereabouts of your product at all times and we can give you accurate lead times on your delivery. *If you require a delivery to any of the islands we are happy to arrange delivery/collection at the ferry.

Refund Policy

Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, there will be a small fee of €25 to uplift your product. 

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sleepwell@dfibeds.com.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sleepwell@dfibeds.com and one of our team will get back to you.

Warranty -

All of our products come with a manufacturer warranty. Each mattress, base and headboard has a guarantee that if something goes wrong we can get it replaced for you if it comes down to being a manufacturer fault such as springs or material defects.

Each set / mattress has different warranty times due to the grade of mattress.

Luxury orthopedic mattress – best value for money.

Our cheap and cheerful mattress is quite popular for spare rooms / kids rooms. Our luxury orthopedic set would be the best value for money, as this is an open coil spring mattress the warranty for this mattress would be 1 year.
 

Sensation 1000 pocket sprung mattress

Our Sensation 1000 pocket sprung mattress is the perfect mattress for ‘the middle of the road price’ customer. It is the upgraded option to the luxury set which customers tend to go for. The warranty for this mattress would be 5 years.
 

Hotel Platinum 1400 Pocket Sprung Mattress

Our Hotel Platinum has the hotel quality feel with its cushioned and supportive feel. Our award – winning Hotel Platinum mattress has 10 years manufacturer warranty.

 

Is Delivery Really Free?

How long does it take to get my new bed?

We hold a huge stock in our purpose built warehousing facility in Armagh and most of our product range can be delivered within 3-5 working days. In some instances we need to order customised product from our suppliers and this can mean a 7-10 working day lead time.

We deliver free to Dublin and surrounding areas every weekday and deliver to Cork, Limerick, Tipperary and Kerry on alternate days.

Do DFI Beds install the bed?

Unfortunately due to the current situation surrounding COVID-19 we do not offer installation. However, our divan bases (except 3FT Single size) come in 2 parts for easy transportation and are connected by simple U-Clips which are supplied. Headboards are also attached simply by standard headboard bolts.

 

Are all DFI Beds products hand made in Ireland?

Yes, every single product we sell has been hand made in Ireland. Our product is made from the finest raw materials and have been designed by Sleep Experts and adjusted to give our customers the best night’s sleep. We have a strong relationship with our suppliers and carry out product testing reviews which include sample testing to ensure conformity with product specifications. Each bed and mattress is made to an exacting specification and is designed to last for many years so we insist that each one is made according to the agreed specification.

 

What products do DFI Beds offer?

DFI specialise in supplying a range of carefully selected mattresses, headboards and divan beds. We know beds and have invested a huge amount of time in developing beds and mattresses specifically for the Irish consumer.  We have built our reputation around beds and mattresses and that is how what we aim to continue. We have a team of dedicated staff who have all undergone training in the benefits of all the different components that make up our beds and mattresses and they are available from 9 am to 10 pm every day including Sundays. We believe that it’s important to be able to answer queries when our customers need us. Is it safe to buy online?

We understand there can be a hesitancy or reluctance to buy some products online, and for many years we doubted ourselves whether customers would have the confidence to buy beds and mattresses without having the opportunity to test them out in-store first. Trust is an important feature in any business and we understand that our customers are spending their hard-earned money with us and we want every customer to be 100% satisfied with their purchase. Our business model relies heavily on the reviews of customers which we have spent years building up and have now more than 1000 five star reviews and if you take time to read through them you will find many from repeat customers but also how we perform when things occasionally do go wrong. The true measure of a company is not what happens when things go as planned but when things go wrong and even with the best will in the world they occasionally do. We delivery upwards of 60 beds every day from one end of Ireland to the other and we really go to the ends of the earth to resolve any problems that arise. DFI Beds also offer a cash on delivery service so only once you’re completely satisfied our and happy with the product do you need to commit.
